wrapped my first christmas gift this evening (in newspaper.... in the name of greenness)
looking over my homemade presents i wonder what it's all about
family
love
togetherness
simply existing side by side

i think yes.

the stresses will be put aside
the hardest parts of the season will be over
thankfulness will abound along with overflowing stockings
we will share gifts and stories
miss the absent ones and embrace the present

for a day we will rest
